Drupal development for GyanFinder

KnackForge was involved with GyanFinder on a contract basis for a duration of two months with their technical team to give a shape to their product. KnackForge assisted them to develop  dashboard and search modules.

Dashboard: As the name implies, it is the essential part of their site, in fact a home page for registered users. Dashboard gives a well wrapped view of activities like establishing connections within site users, subscribing to trainings and  posting ads. The functionality of the dashboard is very similar to the activity page in the Facebook. Every items that appears in this page is associated to some events like share, comment and vote. 

Search: A search module that works on top of Apache solr module, at the core offers features like searching for training, trainers(individual and corporate) and fellow users. Facets are generated dynamically and rendered on the sidebar relevant to the context of the result items. The search result items were programmed to display additional information like training commencement date time, rating, duration and a brief description about the trainer together with trainer or organization logo.

Besides modules development, Drupal theming specific to project designs were handled by KnackForge.
